Reasons for the low iron output of the blast furnace:
The reason for the low iron output of the blast furnace may be slow iron tapping, unreasonable taphole depth and taphole tunnel.
There are three reasons for the slow tapping of iron:
(1) The particle size composition of blast furnace fuel (coke) deteriorates. During the tapping process, coke is stuck or coke surges in the taphole. When coke is stuck, the flow rate of the taphole slows down and it is difficult to poke. Sometimes it is easier to poke open suddenly. Danger: slag spraying or blowing slag may easily burn the operator. The only way to improve it is to work from the source, which is to put the coke into the furnace in its entirety.
(2) When the furnace temperature rises, the blast furnace temperature is operated with high alkalinity or cast iron is smelted, it is difficult to operate the taphole in front of the furnace. At the same time, slag iron is easy to stick to the iron hook, and the intensity of the operation in front of the furnace increases. To solve the problem of the taphole The problem is to increase the diameter of the drill bit of the tapping machine, or for those who use flat steel to drill the taphole, make the crescent of the steel drill bit larger and increase the diameter of the taphole appropriately.
(3) It means using a plugging mud with better performance than the original one or changing the formula of the potting mud to improve the quality. This kind of potting mud has higher strength and resistance to slag iron erosion, and the taphole works stably, which means that when you start How big is the tap hole? From the beginning to the end, the tap hole diameter does not change much in a few steps, which makes the tapping process feel longer and the tap hole is difficult to poke. The solution is the same as the second one.
The depth of the taphole and the taphole tunnel are unreasonable:
The taphole has a depth, but the amount of iron tapped is small. In addition to the taphole depth, there is also a taphole channel (one is the angle and the other is the diameter of the drill pipe. Large diameters have a large amount of iron and the tapping time is short, while small diameters take a long time to tap. The amount of iron tapped is not large, try a small caliber according to the characteristics of your blast furnace), and there is also a taphole maintenance, this is to prevent shallow leakage of the taphole. to open the taphole if the taphole is too soft. The clay sintering time is long. There is a taphole clay sintering time here. The taphole clay sintering time is given according to the tapping time. The manual operation is to pre-open the taphole, plug it for 15 minutes to withdraw the gun, and pre-open the taphole in the middle of the opening of the next furnace. meter small blast furnace, the taphole depth is 1800mm, and the pre-opening is about 1100mm.
2. Safety regulations for blast furnace tapping:
(1) It is strictly prohibited to tap iron from the slag iron ditch while it is wet.
(2) The size of the opening should be appropriate. If the boiled tap hole or the tap hole is too shallow, reduce the pressure and tap the iron to control the flow of the tap hole.
(3) Keep an eye on the slag skimmer to prevent excessive iron in the slag from being blasted when water is flushing the slag.
(4) It is prohibited to cross the slag-iron ditch during tapping.
(5) When using iron tools to come into contact with molten iron, be sure to heat it.
(6) When blocking the taphole after tapping, the mud cannon must be aligned to ensure the amount of mud.
