Successful Custom Drilling Tools Project for South America Open Pit Mining Client

In 2026, a large local mining contractor from Brazil launched a new open pit mineral exploration project. The client needed stable and high wear resistant downhole tools for complex stratum drilling, including frequent hard rock drilling and high temperature underground operation.

The client’s previous ordinary drill bits and adapters had obvious defects : short service life, frequent breakage, high replacement frequency, which caused long construction downtime and increased overall mining operation costs. In addition, it was difficult for ordinary accessories to adapt to local hard rock and mixed geological conditions.
